Elon Musk Shocks

• Elon Musk suggests that Vivek Ramaswamy should meet the prospective candidate for the 2024   Presidential election of the GOP.
• Elon Musk tweeted on Sunday, “He should get to meet him.
• Elon Musk was responding to a tweet that speculated Ramaswamy “wants to be vice president.”

Elon Musk is once again stepping forward in support of another controversial Republican figure. This time, he claims, he is supporting Vivek Ramaswamy wholeheartedly, the likely nominee for the Republican presidential nomination who is also running for vice president.
On Sunday, Southpaw blogger Mike Sernovich, on the ex-social media platform formerly known as Twitter, wrote that “Vivek is powerful.” In response, a user with the handle @AsTheWorldBurnz speculated that Ramaswamy “wants the VP pick.”
In response to @AsTheWorldBurnz, Musk tweeted, “He should get to meet him.”

On Sunday, Musk also responded to another tweet about Ramaswamy, this time from conservative satirical site Babylon Bee author Ashley St. Clear. Clear was referencing Saturday’s shooting spree, writing on ex, “I can do nothing but love Vivek. The mass shooting is a result of mental health crisis. We’ve created a society that’s unbearable for many.” Three white people were killed in a dollar general in Jacksonville, Florida. “Bring back mental institutions. Stop overprescribing people with psychiatric drugs. Revive the idea of purpose for humanity.”

Musk, known for engaging in spats, creating turmoil, and posting edgy content on ex, did not elaborate extensively on why he is supporting Ramaswamy this time.

Biotech entrepreneur Ramaswamy announced his candidacy for the GOP presidential nomination in February. Picturing himself as a conservative firebrand, he has carved out a niche for himself in the crowded field of candidates. He has made high-profile stunts, such as rapping on Fox News and broadcasting Eminem at the Iowa State Fair.

Just last week, Ramaswamy compared Democratic representative Ayanna Pressley to “KKK’s modern-day wizard,” claiming that racism is often “constructed,” and accused former Vice President Mike Pence of “flinching” on seizing the “historic opportunity” on January 6, 2021, to advance election reforms.

It seems that following Ramaswamy’s impressive performance in the GOP debate last week, Musk’s interest in Ramaswamy has increased. On Friday, Ramaswamy said that if Musk wins the presidency in 2024, he would want Musk to be his White House advisor.
Ramaswamy stated, “I hope he becomes my interesting advisor.”

Ramaswamy is not the lone GOP candidate; Musk has publicly said he supports. Throughout 2022, on several occasions, Musk mentioned that he would return to GOP nomination and potentially team up with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis for a presidential run. In May, Musk hosted a live stream for Desantis’s campaign on the messy Twitter space, during which Desantis had to speed-read his announcement.

While Musk has publicly stated he’s behind various GOP figures, his history of political donations tracked by Open Secrets reveals an equal financial contribution history to both Democrats and Republicans. In the current GOP race, former President Donald Trump is leading, and Musk has openly clashed with him.

Musk’s representatives in ex did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the insider’s plea sent outside of regular business hours. Ramaswamy also did not immediately respond to the insider’s request for comment sent outside of regular business hours.”
