Jill Biden’s Inspiring COVID-19

On Monday, the First Lady, Jill Biden, underwent a positive test for COVID-19, but her spokesperson stated that she is experiencing only mild symptoms.

President Joe Biden’s wife had her virus test after testing positive for a positive result following her initial positive test, but her results turned out negative. White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre mentioned that the President will continue regular testing, with close monitoring for any symptoms.

Communications Director Elizabeth Alexander stated that the Bidens will remain at their residence in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, for the time being. The First Lady had plans to start a new school year at Northern Virginia Community College on Tuesday, where she teaches English and writing.

Alexander noted that due to her situation, she was working with school officials to arrange for substitute teachers for her classes.

The First Lady had traveled to Florida with her husband on Saturday to inspect the damage from Hurricane Ida. President Biden went on to attend a union event in Philadelphia on Monday before returning to the White House, spending part of Labor Day weekend in Delaware Beach House.

Both Bidens had contracted COVID-19 during the previous summer.
