“Gaza Hospital Explosion Shocks the World: Uncovering the Startling Truth!”

Gaza Hospital Tragedy: Unraveling the Al-Ahli Arab Hospital Explosion

According to the Gaza Health Ministry, at least 500 people have been killed in the explosion at Al-Ahli Arab Hospital in the heart of Gaza City.

The hospital has been serving as a refuge for the thousands of residents who had to flee northern Gaza in search of safety from Israeli airstrikes. Those trapped in Gaza are facing shortages of medicine, food, water, and electricity.

Israel Defense Forces (IDF) denied responsibility for the explosion, attributing it to the failed launch by the Palestinian Islamic Jihad. IDF stated, “Analysis of IDF operational procedures indicates that the rocket attack was launched towards Israel, passing by the hospital.”

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said, “The barbaric terrorists in Gaza are the ones who targeted the hospital.”

However, a senior U.S. official told, “American officials do not know where the rocket came from on this issue.”

Doctors Without Borders’ Dr. Ghassan Abu Sitta was conducting an operation at the time. He said, “There was a massive explosion, and the ceiling collapsed in the operating room. This is a massacre.”

President Biden expressed his deep sorrow in a written statement on Tuesday evening, saying that he is “angered and deeply saddened by the horrific loss of life in the explosion at Al-Ahli Arab Hospital.”

His statement continued, “Immediately upon hearing this news, I spoke with King Abdullah II of Jordan and Prime Minister Netanyahu of Israel, directing my national security team to gather information about what happened.

The United States stands firmly for security. In the midst of conflict, we mourn for those who have lost their lives or been injured, medical workers, and other innocent people.”

The World Health Organization condemned the hospital attack and called for “immediate active protection of civilians and healthcare workers.”

WHO stated in a statement, “The hospital was one of the 20 in the northern Strip facing evacuation orders from the Israeli military as current insecurity, the critical condition of many patients, and shortages of ambulances, staff, health system bed capacity, and alternative accommodation makes evacuation impossible.”

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency had earlier warned on Tuesday that hospitals had less than 24 hours of fuel remaining.

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas declared three days of mourning after the attack.
